While Gergő was busy with his EAS racing, me just had to work on this combo. My efforts meant a 5th place on the HLVC chart. Then I got robbed by Prezsi. Bad boy. He never knew that i would return this "favor". I asked Gergő two days before the race, if he tried this GTi/rally already. He said no, he just tried GTT on Blackwood. Allright, he is just calm as always - told to myself. As it turned out he hardly recognized that there was a race that weekend. I might call the management to remind our racers earlier.

The qualifying session was far beyond my imagination. Do I have to always suck at qual sessions? I guess no, I'm just fading. Gergő run just fine, just so he could make it to Pool A. The trial starts were ridiculous, I said a couple of prayers to avoid these things in the real start. But I was the one, who helped Vertic to the wall, making him turn around. Not that I realized that at that time.

I turned at the 6th position, between Prezsi and Csűr. Csűr attacked, almost got me, then let me go when it got hot in one corner. Then I was able to get some breathing room, and Prezsi seemed to be within my reach. Then the moment came, and I went besides him, and outbroke him. He was cautious, so it could have been a collision, if he chooses a more aggressive approach. I had a chance to get by Bobbi, but he held his position eventually.

Gergő came gained some positions after the start, and he was able to hold it. He fighted with Marki in the first part of the race, then he found his rythm, and pulled away. He saw Vertic do some funny things (momo racing problems), and stuck behind him most of the time. In the meantime Marki closed in on him, and when Gergő risked another overtaking manouvre, Marki stepped besides him, and stole his place.

Norbi was able to pull away from the start, and so the RX7 guys, kept their positions, avoided the fights. Prezsi got into a battle with Csűr also, and came out on top. Csűr seperated himself from Bond in the end, who kept an amazing steady pace throughout the race. Then came the couple of ePtOn and AtiB. The Gergő's trio, who were followed by Light and TasMan.

I don't know if C3Gábor ever won in Pool B, but he did so this time by a large margin, in front of Kacsa and Chase, who had to squeez throught the field from the last positions. Then came a fighting quartet of Laube, Reechy, cactus and domino, who also had to eat up a large distance. Zolessz came in last, although he got the pole.

I really enjoyed it, and was quite satisfied with my performance, however the two moments - first when I wasn't able to complete my overtaking manoeuvre against Vertic, and second when I lost one place in the last lap - that upset me real bad.''
